As part of Belletetes 125th Anniversary celebration and commitment to support the communities they serve, for the month of August, we will be hosting a food drive at eight of our NH locations (Jaffrey, Peterborough, Nashua, Ashland, Andover, Sunapee, Moultonborough and Pembroke) benefitting the NH Food Bank. Belletetes of Winchendon will be hosting a food drive to benefit Worcester County Food Bank’s Partner Agency in Winchendon, the Winchendon Community Action Committee (WCAC).
Most needed items:
Fruit – canned tropical fruit; canned apples or pears; canned stone fruits – apricots, peaches, cherries; apple sauce
Veggies – canned red/orange peppers, carrots, beets, tomatoes, pumpkin; canned mushrooms; canned green veggies – asparagus, green beans, peas, artichokes, spinach; canned starchy veggies – corn or potatoes
Protein – dried or canned beans – chickpeas, black beans, kidney beans, etc.; dried or canned lentils; canned tuna or other canned fish; canned chicken; peanut or other nut butters; mixed nuts
Whole Grains – brown or wild rice; quinoa; barley or farro; rolled oats; whole wheat pasta, crackers oatmeal
Other – soup or broth (low sodium); herbs and spices; sparkling water or seltzer; shelf-stable milk or shelf-stable non-dairy milk; 100% fruit juice
